MORE STAGE 16
The fun doesn't stop after the podium ceremony. Folks hang around hoping to get a glimpse of their favorite rider or even better, an autograph. It is amazing how many folks leave the minute the jerseys are awarded. The die hards that stay are usually the best people you will meet on Le Tour. While watching the choppers take off we ran into Franklin who happened to ride on a pro team in the old days with a good friend of mine. We also ran into several people that we had bumped into at other times.
