BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY

     The ski into the Graveyard Fields climbing area is approximately seven miles.  By the time you do the approach, spend a day climbing and then ski back to the truck it makes for a long day.  Don't get any bright ideas when you see the tent.  Camping is not allowed here any more but there is an approved campground about another quarter of a mile farther down the road.  When the weather cooperates this area has all the back country feel a person could want.
