MEDIUM BATTLE RIFLES

BRITISH L1A1

I am a freak for inch pattern FN FALs as well as metric versions but I think and L2a1 is the sexiest of all the FAL pattern rifles ever made. This British L1a1 is so near perfect it stays in a vault most of the time and is taken out to photograph more than shoot. It has every accessory from all length but pad extensions, bayonet, proper sling, cleaning kit and more. It has a near perfect bore and shoots as well as any FAL pattern rifle.

CETME

For years I owned HK 91s/G3s and turned my nose up like a snob at their predisessor the CETME.  Was in a gun shop that had a CETME on the wall and owner ws highly motivated to sell it. I took it to the back shop area and did a full inspection of bolt gap, cocking tube gap, made sure bolt head had not been welded, checked it with a go/no go/field gauge and examined bore with a bore scope. Everything was dead solid perfect and appeared as every part used in the build were new milspec parts and at price offered I had to take it. Next day took it to a range with various size targets from 25 feet to 400 yards to discover it shot every bit as well as my best HK 91. Since that first CETME purchase have added four more to the fleet all that passed inspection with flying colors and were inexpensive enough I couold not leave them on the shelf. Under $500 medium battle rifles that work well are not to be passed up but there are several things that must pass inspection which we will walk prospective buyers through proper inspection on a dedicated CETME page soon.

GALIL ACE PISTOL

If you want a combination medium battle rifle and flame thrower this is your machine. While nice and compact especially with the pistol brace folded the 11.5" barrel is a flame thrower. That said with the Vortex scope it is accurate enough for what it is but even 7.62x51 loses a fair amount of horse power with such a short barrel. This "pistol" is also offered in 8.5" barrel I would not even consider the shorter vesrsion as the 11.5" is small enough for a cut down medium battle rifle.
