a.k.a. foster falls

     Foster Falls is another area that has seen many changes over the years.  Trad climbers visited the "gizzard" for years and put up a fair number of routes.  The importation of sport climbing changed the entire dynamic of the area and it is now one of the more popular sport climbing areas in the south.  Unfortunately many of the old trad lines have been retro bolted during the transformation.  The high concentration of quality sport routes of all grades attracts some rather large crowds on the weekends.
