COVERT BODY ARMOR, OVERT RIFLE ARMOR & BALLISTIC BARRIERS

CoolBulletProofing and our other sites relating to armor are all based on actual use along with testing of all types of armor and accessories. We will discuss particular types of armor, their use along with what each system will and will not do. In addition to body armor we will discuss accessories, ballistic barriers and more. So from surplus police armor, military grade overt armor to polycarbonantes, glass laminates, ballistic fiberglass, abrasion resistent steel (almost never endorse for body armor) and more we will try to cover how to protect yurself and your homes/businesses from bullets.  We will discuss as much as possible about body armor from older systems dating back 30 years to the latest in technology but concentrate on what is most affordable and accessible to the average person as in present day America not only do police and military need to consider owning and wearing armor based on situation. In the course of my real job working site to site on the sides of highways and public roads all over the southeast have been very happy that I put on my armor before leaving home.

ARMOR ACCESSORIES

While trauma plates and stab panels are about the only accessories for soft covert armor most consider there are other things such as special materieals some use in cariers like Thor-Shield that stops electronic dischare weapons like tasers and stun guns. When stacking out a full rifle kit often your going to want a myriad of accessories from IFAKs, radios, spare magazines, and much more. Then when wearing covert armor for a security roll covert communications can become an issue which companies like Safariland have solved with their TCI CIPS kits which give the user ability to hide their radio of phone, route wires inside of shirt or jacket with only a discrete ear piece few notice in todays proliferation of ear buds. having a push to talk switch in cuff of spoart coat or suit coat with hidden microphone in lapel communicating with other security personell without drawing undue attention. For the overt tactical kit robust easy to use PTT switches, ear pieces, headsets, dual radio capability is often necessary and often integrated with your helmet and helmets are another subject will cover. There are all kinkds of plate backers and forced air or liquid ventilation systems, armored gloves, knee pads and more accessories than most have ever imagined that we will discuss as continue to build this site.
