MORE STAGE 11
As the riders take their starting positions the excitement starts to build. The folks in the crowd start hollering at their favorite teams and riders. Their is a hierarchy that must be respected as the teams get ready for the start. All of the jerseys and their teams are brought to the front center position. Then the other big name teams take flanking positions. Since Lance wasn't in yellow the Postal squad sent a few men to the front for a visual presence but Lance started in the rear with a few other team mates. This was for his safety as the pack sorted itself out and his team brought him up once the peloton was out on the road.
